Apr 10, 2024
We are proud to see Adventist Health Glendale's Lead Charge Nurse and Relief Shift Supervisor for Labor & Delivery, Gayane Cherechyan, RN, BSN, featured on Working Nurse! Gayane began her journey with Adventist Health Glendale in 2005 and has been with the Labor & Delivery unit ever since.
Her passion for nursing came well before the early 2000s. When she was a child, her mother spent months in the hospital, driving her to become a nurse in Armenia in 1988. Four years later, she immigrated to the United States and continued pursuing her career in the medical field, bringing her to the hospital we all know and love, Adventist Health Glendale. Throughout her time in the Labor & Delivery unit, Gayane has collected copious amounts of exciting stories and has deepened her love for the care she provides to her patients.
"Gayane has a deep dedication and passion for her job in caring for women, especially pregnant women, and her love for delivering babies. She sees her role as a privilege to be part of one of the most special events in people's lives. She is a valuable member of the team and an asset to the Women's Services department here at Adventist Health Glendale and we are proud to see her featured in Working Nurse."- Grace Kwasman, administrative director atAdventist Health Glendale’s Women’s Services
