Adventist Health Simi Valley has received multiple esteemed honors in 2024 from Healthgrades—the leading resource that connects consumers, physicians and health systems. Every year, Healthgrades evaluates hospital performance at nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide for 31 of the most common inpatient procedures and conditions. Specifically, we received honors in the areas of Cardiac, Critical Care, Gastrointestinal, Orthopedics, Neurosciences and Pulmonary treatments.

America Stroke Association Gold Stroke Plus Award 2018 - 2024
Adventist Health Simi Valley has earned this award for a seventh consecutive year by meeting specific quality achievement measures for the diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients at a set level for a designated period. These measures include evaluation of the proper use of medications and other stroke treatments aligned with the most up-to-date, evidence-based guidelines with the goal of speeding recovery and reducing death and disability for stroke patients. The award recognizes the hospital’s commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines based on the latest scientific evidence.
DNV Stroke Certification
Adventist Health Simi Valley is certified as a Primary Stroke Center by DNV, affirming the hospital’s readiness to manage a full range of stroke-related medical problems based on standards set forth by the American Stroke Association and the Brain Attack Coalition.
Stroke certification confirms that Adventist Health Simi Valley has the personnel, procedures and facilities to provide outstanding care for stroke patients in a very timely manner. As part of the Ventura County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) stroke network, the county EMS transports local stroke patients directly to Adventist Health Simi Valley for timely care.
Chest Pain Accreditation from American College of Cardiology
Chest Pain Center v6 Accreditation is a quality improvement program designed for hospital cardiovascular (CV) teams that are focused on the efficient and effective care of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients. CPC v6 Accreditation drives to establish consistent, high-quality processes across the continuum of care.
