Michelle Beauchene, PT, DPT, CLT
Lead Physical Therapist
Michelle is a physical therapist who loves to solve patient problems. With a strong background in neurologically based physical therapy, she enjoys working together with patients who are ready to take action and enabling them to achieve their goals and restore function with a combination of education and targeted exercises.
She delights in seeing results with patients who have not had much success with PT in the past and enjoys rehabilitating patients with poor balance, edema management, TMJ disorders, and chronic neck and back pain along with orthopedic conditions.
Michelle graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ in 2015 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In her free time, she loves reading, gardening, biking and photography.
Erin Barnes, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Erin graduated from the University of Montana Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science in 2018 and has been with Adventist Health since then. She works at our Gresham Station out-patient clinic and has training in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), chronic pain and manipulations.
Prior to becoming a PT, Erin earned a BA in German Language with a Teaching Emphasis from the University of Montana and taught German Language at the high school level. She also has been a massage therapist since 2005 and owned and operated a massage therapy clinic in Missoula, MT from 2009 to 2018. When not in session, you can find Erin out in the garden or playing with her tuxedo kittens.

Elena Bishop, OTD, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Elena Bishop, a native Portlander, earned her doctorate in occupational therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Scripps College in Claremont, California where she completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Bishop creates a positive and caring setting that puts patients at ease. Her goal is to provide support and education, and to collaborate in the therapeutic process. She employs a wide variety of strategies tailored to her patients' needs or injuries including customized orthoses and splints.
Outside of work, Bishop likes to travel, cook, and try new restaurants. She also enjoys reading fiction, paddle boarding and watching British crime TV shows with her cat, Eloise.
Kim Do, PT, DTP
Physical Therapist
Kim combines her expertise in psychology and physical therapy, rooted in holistic care principles, drawing from her education at the University of California, Irvine and Samuel Merritt University. Advocating for personalized, patient-centered treatment, she pioneered a pelvic floor elective at Samuel Merritt University, reflecting her commitment to addressing overlooked health aspects like post-partum incontinence. Recognizing the interconnectedness of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing, she approaches each patient with empathy, tailoring treatments to individual needs and goals. Emphasizing collaboration and patience, she guides patients on their wellness journey with confidence. Beyond her practice, she enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest's beauty, unwinding with books, and savoring diverse cuisines. Committed to health equity, she advocates for underserved communities, inspired by her upbringing, aiming to break socioeconomic barriers and enhance medical field representation.
Jacob Johnston, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Jacob Johnson is a dedicated physical therapist with a passion for optimizing function and improving lives. With a primary focus on outpatient orthopedics, Jacob specializes in treating a wide array of musculoskeletal injuries, both pre- and post-operative. He excels in designing tailored rehabilitation programs for individuals seeking to improve their balance, avoid falling and combat general deconditioning. Jacob has also practiced as certified personal trainer. His treatment philosophy emphasizes a diverse array of exercise modalities including yoga and Pilates, fostering holistic healing and functional improvement.
As a compassionate listener, Jacob understands the importance of walking alongside patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. He works with patients to create targeted, goal-oriented exercise programs, empowering them to reclaim their function and enhance their quality of life.
Beyond the clinic, Jacob is an avid outdoor enthusiast, finding solace and inspiration in activities such as hiking, camping, backpacking, fishing, and running. He has also taken up indoor and outdoor rock climbing and mountain biking.
With a blend of expertise, empathy and a zest for adventure, Jacob is poised to make a profound impact on the lives his patients and the community at large.
Sayali Khedekar, PT, DPT, CLT
Physical Therapist
As a physical therapist and a certified lymphedema therapist, Sayali prioritizes skilled function-based rehabilitation including evidence-based care. “It is truly an honor and a responsibility to be in a profession that allows me to be of service to the community and play a part in someone’s health and recovery journey,” says Sayali. She emphasizes kindness, patience, and holding unconditional positive regard towards her patients as part of her treatment approach.
Sayali completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Maharashtra University of Health Science and went on to pursue her Post Professional Doctorate in physical therapy from Loma Linda University. She has worked in a variety of practice settings including home health, sub-acute, long term care and outpatient environments.
Outside of work, Sayali can be found exploring the outdoors with her dogs and wandering the flower fields around the Willamette valley. She enjoys kayaking and going on hikes in the Pacific Northwest. When not outdoors, Sayali spends her time as an illustrator and practices fine arts like paper quilling and participates in art fairs all around Oregon.
Jason Ladwig, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Jason Ladwig truly enjoys helping his patients improve their quality of life and function. He brings training in mechanical diagnosis and therapy (MDT), orthopedics, balance and gait to his work in both outpatient and hospital settings.
Before completing his physical therapy assistant training at Mount Hood Community College, Jason earned his Bachelor of Science in recreation management from Appalachian State University. He worked as a kayak guide in Maine. He also enjoys biking and spending time with his family.
Lindsay Lajola, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Helping patients return to their normal lives excites Lindsay Lajola in her work as a physical therapist.
Lajola earned her doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware. She loves empowering patients to manage their health and activity levels in order to live their fullest lives. Through careful listening and a holistic approach, Lajola works to help each patient achieve what is most important to him or her.
Lajola relocated from Hawaii to Oregon, so she is enjoying exploring the region with her husband and dog. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, reading, making crafts and greeting cards, trying new recipes and gardening.
Shane Peterson, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Seeing his patients improve gives physical therapist Shane Peterson deep satisfaction. He is passionate about helping patients recover quality of life. With patients, he listens without judgment to each person’s unique issues and goals. Then he does his best to help them make progress toward those goals.
Shane earned his doctorate degree in physical therapy at the University of Washington in Seattle. He specializes in working with older adults with cognitive and balance issues.
Shane grew up on a small farm in Oregon. An athlete in his youth, he still has a passion for outdoor activities. He enjoys traveling and has visited most of the U.S. national parks and many other countries. At home, he loves making music on his keyboard and reading.
Cierra Santiago, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
As a physical therapist, Cierra Santiago loves helping people learn to manage their pain on their own, so they can have confidence in returning to the activities they enjoy.
Cierra earned her doctorate degree in physical therapy from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. She has added training in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) and vestibular rehabilitation to her skills. She also has special training in therapy for dizziness, balance and persistent pain.
When not at work, Cierra enjoys hiking, running, trying new foods and hanging out with her husband and two cats.
