Patient would recommend AHMO-Kingsburg dental care team "to God himself"
Jan 28, 2022
Like most people, Kingsburg’s Leona Matthews has never really looked forward to visiting the dentist.
But Matthews, the first dental patient at Adventist Health Medical Office – Kingsburg, says that all changed with Dr. Mikhai Ta, DDS, and his team.
“They make you feel like you’re part of their family,” Matthews said.
Matthews has seen Dr. Ta several times since her first visit. Last week, she received her new dentures, which she says was a life-changing experience.
“It was like seeing myself 20 years ago,” Matthews said. “I feel like the most beautiful person in the world.”
Matthews had her teeth removed years ago due to decay, and quickly set aside a cheap set of dentures.
But she says these dentures are beautiful and fit perfectly.
“I look in the mirror and I just smile,” Matthews said.
Would Matthews recommend Dr. Ta to others?
“To God himself, I’m telling you,” Matthews replied. “It was the best experience I’ve ever had with any kind of medical professional at all.”
“She’s very positive and very appreciative,” Dr. Ta said.
Dr. Ta, a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, says he strives to practice the mission of Adventist Health while caring for patients: to live God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope.
“I treat them as my family,” he said. “That’s my philosophy.”
