Interventional Radiology

The Adventist Health Lodi Memorial diagnostic imaging department offers interventional radiology and complex ultrasound procedures. Interventional radiology has been responsible for the advancement of minimally invasive procedures and has established innovative medicine that is common procedure today. Such inventions include angioplasty and catheter-delivered stents used to treat peripheral arterial disease.

The theory behind interventional radiology is to diagnose and treat patients using the least invasive technology. This results in improved patient outcomes with the least risk.

Procedures that once required surgery can be performed nonsurgically by our interventional radiologists.
