Cancer Services
Some of the darkest moments of life begin with the words “You have cancer.” If you or a loved one have heard those words recently, the Cancer Services team at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial is here for you. Rest assured that we’ll walk with you through every step of your journey. We pledge to put the full force of our expertise, experience, technology, and connections to work so that you have the best possible outcome.
As a faith-based hospital, we believe our work is sacred work. And we believe the best care is about more than just the body. That’s why we treat you as a whole person — body, mind, and spirit. It’s the way we approach all our services, but it’s especially important in cancer care.
Here for Your Whole Life
At Adventist Health, our focus is on health and wellness for your entire life, not just the moments of crisis. That’s why our Cancer Services program is structured around three main platforms:
- Prevention and early detection— We educate and motivate our community to make healthy lifestyle choices that lower the risk of cancer, to learn the early signs of cancer and to get tested at the proper ages and stages of life. We work hard to provide access to early detection services like mammography, colonoscopy, and low-dose CT.
You can learn more about early prevention by taking a free health risk assessment here:

- Treatment— We assemble a compassionate and expert cancer care team while utilizing the best technology to diagnose and effectively treat all types of cancer. We’re with you from the moment you receive your diagnosis of cancer, and we build touchpoints into the process to make sure no aspect of your care falls through the cracks.
- Survivorship— We stay with your after treatment to connect you with the help and services you need to transition to your post-treatment life. The cancer journey can take a toll on your work life, family relationships, living situations, self-image and more. We’ll make sure you’re well supported and set up for success for the years to come.
Your Home Team
Most patients will find all the cancer care services they need right here at home, thanks to our technologically advanced facilities and strong connections with local physicians who are specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of cancers. In addition, we have an entire support team of nurses, technologists, therapists, dietitians, social workers, and other highly skilled medical professionals who are focused on helping you along the way.
For those times when we need to seek outside help for a portion of your care, we have well-established relationships with nearby academic cancer centers like UC Davis and Stanford. We’ll stay in contact with you and your loved ones and will be ready to bring your care right back home whenever the time is right.
Support Group
We also offer an open and free support group for breast cancer patients, survivors and family members. Our support group is designed to help you and loved ones navigate the breast cancer journey; from receiving the news to long term survivorship.
Your invited to meet on the second Wednesday of each month at the Adventist Health Physicians Network Cancer Care clinic located at 2407 West Vine Steet, Lodi.
