Visitor Guidelines

We are updating our Visitation Guidelines effective October 18, 2022, in alignment with the updated recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).

Self-symptom screening

Visitors must self-screen at home and make sure they have no symptoms prior to coming to our facilities. This means that patients/visitors do not have to check-in or be screened by staff prior to entry. If you have COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you reschedule your visit.

All entrances have been reopened. Signs will be posted at all entrances and will include self-screening instructions.

Masking

The state requirement for indoor masking in healthcare facilitiesREMAINSin place. Visitors/patients MUST wear a hospital-provided mask while indoors in all our facilities to protect our most vulnerable patients. Masks are available at all entry points in our facilities. If you cannot find one, our team will be happy to assist. We ask that visitors/patients follow all other infection prevention guidelines while in our facilities.

Visitation Policy

We value the importance of support from family and loved ones in our patient’s healing process. We are transitioning to a Patient-Directed visitation policy beginning October 18, 2022. This means that loved ones may visit a patient on a case-by-case basis or as needed, and in collaboration with the patient, and our care team according to personal preferences and in consideration of the patient’s healthcare needs. We ask that all visitors follow all other safety guidelines in place, including wearing a hospital-grade mask.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work hard to protect our patients and team.
