Angels Flight Railway
The historic Angels Flight Railway (no apostrophe in "Angels") opened in Downtown Los Angeles in 1901. It operated for 68 years, with the fare increasing from one cent to a nickel. After much of the Bunker Hill Urban Renewal Project was completed, the Railway reopened in 1996 -- at 351 South Hill Street, about a half-block south of its original location.
