Specialty Tracks:The Dr. Janet A. Cunningham Underserved Medicine Track, Academic Faculty Track, Point of Care Ultrasound Track, Lifestyle Medicine Track-with Board Certification Option
Continuity Clinic
Modified Clinic First Model, with a 3+1 schedule (3 weeks of rotation(s)+1 dedicated clinic week). To maintain continuity, residents will have one dedicated clinic session during most non-clinic weeks.
Patient Visits:
- 1styear: 3-6 patients per half day sessions
- 2ndyear: 6-8 patients per half day sessions
- 3rdyear: 8-10 patients per half day sessions
*Supervision is provided at every visit.
Primary Strengths:
- In-office specialty clinics: Dermatological procedures, pediatrics, psychiatry, orthopedics, women’s health and palliative care.
- Our friendly and supportive nursing and ancillary staff
- Diverse Patient Population including: Latino, Armenian, Korean, Filipino, etc.
In-Patient Coverage
1stYear:
- 6 weeks inpatient day coverage
- 6 weeks inpatient night float
- 5-7 weekend cross covers
- 3 weeks OB in-hospital coverage
- 3 weeks inpatient pediatric coverage
2ndYear:
- 6-7 weeks inpatient day coverage
- 2-4 weeks inpatient night float
- 3-4 weekend cross covers
- 6 weeks OB home call
- 6 weeks ER pediatric/adult coverage
3rdYear:
- 6-7 weeks inpatient day coverage
- 4-6 weeks inpatient night float
- 2-4 weekend cross covers
