Preparing for childbirth
We offer a series of classes for expectant mothers and parents to prepare for the birth of their child. Each class focuses on different aspects of the delivery experience, including how to recognize labor, pain management during labor, red flags and reasons to go to the hospital, and what to expect with a vaginal vs. cesarean (C-section) birth. New infant and parenting information, such as breastfeeding and car seat safety, is also included.
Check our events calendar for the next childbirth class session. For more information, please call 541-296-5657.
Breastfeeding support
Breastfeeding is a person decision. Our team wants to support you with education, tips and tools to help you make the best choice for you and your baby.
Our labor and delivery nurses are trained to help you and your baby make a good breastfeeding connection. You also have the opportunity to return in a few days for a postpartum clinic visit. This gives you a chance to get answers and help with breastfeeding and any other aspects of your postpartum experience.
You can also request a lactation consultation any time from pregnancy to weaning. To schedule, call us at 541-296-7210.
