Cardiac rehabilitation is an individualized treatment plan that includes evaluation and instruction on physical activity, nutrition, stress management and other areas that can improve your heart health. Cardiac rehab is an important part of the treatment of your specific heart problem. If you have one of the following diagnoses, you may be eligible to participate:

  • Heart attack
  • Angina
  • Cardiac surgery, such as coronary bypass or valve surgery
  • Coronary artery angioplasty or stents
  • Heart failure
  • Heart transplantation

Cardiac rehab is often covered by health insurance. We recommend you check your plan to determine copays or other requirements. Contact us to inquire about programs for patients who do not have insurance.
