Our Team
The Adventist Health Clear Lake ER team of includes specially trained emergency physicians and nurses, as well as a panel of physician specialists always on call to respond when they are needed. Emergency medical technicians, radiology technicians, physician assistants and other staff members provide additional support to our ER patients. This team is trained to handle everything from cuts, broken bones and high fevers to life-threatening events like cardiac arrest and stroke.
Emergency Physicians
To provide you the very best care, Adventist Health Clear Lake is proud to partner with Acute Medical Providers (AMP), led by Rodney Look, MD, medical director. AMP is an independently owned group established in Napa Valley in 2011.
The providers that serve in Adventist Health Clear Lake’s emergency room are a close group of board-certified emergency medicine physicians, internal medicine physicians, acute practice providers, paramedics and support staff. They have been recognized nationally for patient satisfaction, and many of our physicians have served as chief medical officer, chief of staff and/or chair at other large medical centers.
These emergency specialists have also been awarded physician of the year at their institutions and have had multimillion dollar foundation donations made in their name.
Emergency room staff includes:
- Certified emergency nurses
- Nurses trained in pediatric advance life support and advanced cardiac life support
- Trauma-trained nursing staff
