Visiting Hours & Guidelines
The following visitation guidance is in effect at hospitals across Adventist Health in the Central Valley:
- Each patient is allowed 2 visitors, 18 years of age or older.
- Visitation hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Different visitors are allowed during the day.
- Visitors are restricted to the patient’s room.
- Visitors should physically distance from staff, other patients & visitors that are not part of their group at all times when in the facility.
- Visitors must wear a surgical mask (Adventist Health provides).
- Visitors must screen themselves prior to entering the facility. If any of the screening points listed below are positive, visitors should not enter the facility:
- Signs & symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle aches, body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea)
- Confirmed COVID-19 infection
- Close contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days
- Emergency department patient can be accompanied by one person.
- Surgery patients can be accompanied by one person.
- Medical office patients can be accompanied by one person.
- Hanford Medical Pavilion patient can be accompanied by one person. Children must be always accompanied by an adult.
- Cafeterias at hospitals in Hanford, Tulare, Selma, and Reedley are open to visitors.
- Labor & Delivery – Two support people per stay. Must be 18 years of age or older.
