2023 CNA of the Year: Anthony ‘Tony” Bracco, CNA2
Jun 21, 2023
Adventist Health Portland named Anthony “Tony” Bracco, CNA2, its CNA of the Year. This award is given to an individual who demonstrates professional excellence, outstanding commitment to mission and a spirit of service through the course of their work.
Colleagues applaud Tony’s calm, caring attitude even in the midst of the ER’s busyness. "Tony is the most cheerful person I know,” says one co-worker.
Another adds, “Tony is always willing to help out where needed, follows instruction from the charge [nurse], and continually has patient care and safety in mind.”
Tony’s desire to go above and beyond shined recently when an ambulance brought a patient covered in bugs and feces. Tony took on the challenge to decontaminate the patient so the rest of the staff could provide the safest care.
This cheerful willingness to do what’s needed and to bring a warm heart and contagious positivity to his work showcase why is the CNA of the Year.
