Support the AIS Cancer Center
Your gifts put to good use
Your gift to the AIS Cancer Center has a deep impact. Generous donors just like you provide gifts and grants that help us provide world-class cancer care, right here in Bakersfield. That means your friends and neighbors won't have to travel long distances to get the care they need. Your donations bring that care close to home.
And your donations are needed—now more than ever.
You can help support Kern County cancer care
As a not-for-profit, faith-based organization, Adventist Health Bakersfield depends on the generosity of our community. We need your help in order to invest in technology, retain the best oncology professionals and maintain our beautiful facility.
We also rely on donations to support vital services for people with cancer. Your gift could support:
Programs and services
The AIS Cancer Center provides yoga classes, art therapy classes, support group meetings and more—at no charge—to those in need who have been diagnosed with cancer. Donations also help us to launch new programs to enrich the everyday lives of people in our care.
Breast cancer
The Adventist Health Breast Center provides screenings, surgeries, radiation oncology and chemotherapy to women with cancer. Your donation helps us invest in new equipment and personnel, and provide wigs to women in need.
Transportation
Our service area is large. and many people undergoing cancer care have several appointments each week. They may not have reliable transportation, or the funds to cover their commutes. Donations help to eliminate those concerns. We guarantee free rides to and from cancer care appointments.
You can help
We rely on organizations, businesses and private foundations to provide the financial support that enables us to create and maintain vital services and programs our community needs and deserves. We also rely on individual support from people just like you.
Any donation, no matter how small, helps us to assist people struggling with cancer. Your gift will help us to further programs and services so vital for the recovery process.
