Financial Assistance

We recognize the often unseen cost of cancer care. The Adventist Health Bakersfield Foundation—through the support of generous community donors—offers transportation assistance to people in need. We can provide you with:

• Gas cards
• Bus passes
• Taxi vouchers
• Medical transport

We also recognize that there may be added expenses during or even after your treatment. Some of these such as wigs and breast prosthetics are important to helping you get back to a sense of wholeness. Therefore, our staff screen for any barriers that might be seen as limitations to care.
