Shane Cox

Finance Officer Shane Cox comes to Adventist Health Bakersfield and Tehachapi Valley from Adventist Health System Mid-America Region in Kansas City, Missouri. Shane earned his MBA from the University of Texas-Arlington and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has held a wide variety of financial positions within the Adventist Health System and beyond, including: auditor, accounting director, controller and chief financial officer. Shane’s last role was senior finance officer and vice president of revenue cycle at Adventist Health System Mid-America Region, a 528-bed medical center. When it comes to “seeing double,” that’s a natural occurrence in the Cox family: Shane is a twin and so is his wife of 20 years, Basiela, as well as both of his parents! In his free time, Shane enjoys the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
